Meet our Youth Lead!
Hey, I’m Jordan – the Youth Lead here at SAZ MEDIA!
I’m the go-to person if you have any questions or need help. I organise and run our workshops and anything that involves working with young people. I’m super passionate about hearing your ideas and love getting young people involved in how we plan and run things here. I’m always up for chatting and sharing ideas! Photography is my passion, and I’m all about being creative and capturing moments, especially when I’m out in nature. If you’ve got questions or need support, I’m here to help you every step of the way!

Free 6-week photography workshop for 18-30 year olds! Every Tuesday, 1pm - 2:30pm for 6 weeks.

A 6-week creative wellbeing course for 18–30 year olds. Using photography as a tool to boost mood, build confidence, and live life to the full.
This course offers a relaxed, supportive space where we’ll explore topics like:
Understanding how thoughts and feelings affect our wellbeing
Reframing unhelpful thoughts
Discovering new perspectives through photography
Using creativity to support mental wellbeing
Slowing down and connecting with the world around you
Building confidence and a more positive outlook
No photography experience needed! We will provide cameras for you to use during the sessions.

We provide all the equipment, so just bring your enthusiasm!

Work Experience

Take part in paid work experience opportunities across event photography, filming, podcast production and editing. We believe in the value of real-world experience, which is why all placements are paid at the Living Wage.
“I first joined when I was 14. I was really nervous because, as a proud Deaf person, I always wanted to learn photography, but I didn’t know where to start. Then I found SAZ Media workshops, and it was exactly what I was looking for! When I visited, I was amazed to find out Sara knew sign language. She gave me so much support and encouragement, and for the first time, I felt like I truly belonged. I made new hearing friends, and it was an amazing experience. Now, I’m volunteering at SAZ, and it’s been such an incredible journey. My story shows that with determination, an open heart, and the right support, anything is possible.
I hope my story encourages other young people, whether Deaf or hearing, to chase their dreams and never stop learning.”
